The Conservatives are just keeping an election promise

Remember back in 2006 when the Conservatives made an election promise to be a more transparent government.

Their using oversized novelty stimulus checks with the Conservative logo and being signed by individual members, cabinet Minister and Stephen Harper is them being transparent in using taxpayers money for partisan purposes. So they have kept that 2006 election promise.

The Conservatives cannot be blamed if everybody else interpreted their promise of transparency some other way.

I'd sooner have them be above board with this than do what Chretien did in his riding. Of course that was not the same was it?

Nice. A conservative admitting he's actually a corrupt liberal.

I think it's becpme obvious that the new conservatives are actually upset liberals and former conservatives who missed the last two gravy trains.

Jay. Tell me a single government who didn't spend more on ridings they held than ones they didn't hold. It goes on in every country and has been going on since the beginning. It's just that when Conservatives do it, it somehow makes it a crime.

I am heartened to hear that PK.

Can I assume from your attitude that you voted for the Martin Liberals?

Afterall, when the Sponsorship Scandal broke he called a public inquiry to get to the bottom of it even though it was not the politically expedient thing to do.

If you believe in rewarding honesty and openness from politicians then that is one of the greatest examples of it in recent history.

So, did you vote for the Martin Liberals?

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Conservative apologists being reduced to the "Liberals did it too" argument. Wow, how the lily white have fallen, now in bed with the dirty Liberals they once despised.

Good stuff.

I love that Jay and Steve V. are suggesting oversized cheques are similiar to Adscam and the HR Billion dollar boondoggles.

It proves how desperate and self-loathing things are at the Lib blogs.

Learn about "framing" and how you raised the scary hidden agenda Harper wanting the majority.

Thank you again for being delusional about your views and think they are the same as regular voters.

Regular voters have political blogs?

Regular voters are terrified of the PM....rofl.

Looks like the bedwetters for the Liberals are grasping at anything trying to deflect the Polling numbers.

Ah, CanadianNonsense - I see from your comments that you are in full support of pork-barrel politics. Also, you seem to have a fetish with bedwetting. There is professional help available for you to help with that.

But this is the 12 billion dollar boondoggle.

Steve V said...

CS spends his entire day on liberal blogs. He does have his own blog, but nobody reads it, so this is how he gets attention. The guy literally spends hours on my blog, and I mean hours.

Now, ask yourself this basic question. If we're all so delusional and ridiculous, what does it say about somebody who spends all his time reading said nonsense? I mean, I haven't spent more than 1 minute on that morgue he calls a blog, nor do I visit BT's much, because I find nothing of value.

Get a life.

Poor Steve V.

Being a "bedwetter" and deleting posts on your blog because you can't handle any criticism?

Not all Lib blogs are deluded. Some have been critical of mistakes. You and your crew of bedwetters post and attack other liberals frequently if they have any dissenting opinion from the mothership.

It is time to stop feed on the teet and grow up. You and your "posse" are wrong.

Your blog and posts (advice) has been in support for a very long time of the Liberal Party: 25% national support reflects how out of touch to main street and the regular voter you are.

Keep deleting posts that disagree with your enchanted forest.

Poor KW,

I don't support corporate welfar Auto bailout, the opposition failed to raise an eyebrow over $ 10.5 Billion!!!

Now you show outrage over oversized cheques that have a logo?

I am against the large EAP, but your party again demanded Billions more and faster every other week!

It is almost funny how you can't connect those dots back to main street voters.

Perception vs Reality.

We have seen the Liberals steal Billions and mismanage Billions through Auditor General Reports and you waste our time with wafers, logos, oversized cheques and wonder why only 25% support your party.

Tragic. KW aplogists like you can't understand we don't care about those faux scandals.

EAP will produce mistakes, Billions are being spent some projects will go bad.

Can you link ANYTIME the Liberals tried to stop "pork barrel" projects?

Remember that fountain in the riding of the PM for tourists right?

See the auditor report on the HR boondoggle. (Real)

E-health Ontario -Real

olympic logos, oversized cheques, bodybags, wafers = bedwetters

It is not complicated.

Oh look who's back, thanks for proving my point. Just a loser with a keyboard. Nothing more, nothing less.

Cheers.

BTW, your fascination is flattering. Sorry it isn't mutual dimbulb.

Amazing - Canadiansense babbles on and on as if he's interesting - poor dude.

Now, is Canadiansense on welfare? Can't be working and spending this much time on the blogosphere.

CanadianSense said...

Ruralsandi,

I read fear and panic in many posts from the Libblogs lately.

The realization 25% is not the bottom, the internal war has not stopped, fundaising for Q3?

Where is Rossi and why is he not bragging about those numbers like he did in Q2?

The sham in nearly up for the few left in the revival of the Liberal Party.

The Lib blogs are in trouble with critical dissenters, you love to attack posters who challenge the strategy.

25% in National support, lower than Dion and no floor?

Ruralsandi, ignore the facts, the enchanted forest is safe and the strategy should not change.

Keep talking about Polls as outliers, MI is winning over voters, his own MP's, senators are in a revolt.

Bring up wafers, oversized cheques, unsexy comments, posters on welfare.

How is your posse, reminds me of 'malibu's most wanted.

Thanks again for the blanket statement and denigrating people of social assistance. Desperate times for the Liberal Party?

Ruralsandi are you going to bring out a Dinosaur next and attack Christians next?

Fyi, the liberals were punished for that and so will your lust for your dictator Harpergate. In 4 short years he has topped the charts with gaffs and using tax dollars for his own goals and still the sheeple follow like a bunch of fools. Canadians didn't like the likes of Ad scam and made them pay the ultimate price for it and they will do the same to the Reform/Alliance/Con/Artist party. Get ready; brace yourself because you will find yourself going down with the ship very soon. Do we have to keep seeing Harper King stealing billions and accept it as okay because the liberals did it? I don’t think so and he will find out soon enough that enough is enough already.

You sure don’t suit your blog name much because you just keep showing us how opposite you are.

CanadianSense said...

Marie link the auditor general REPORTS to back up your claims the CPC have repeated the scandals under Chretien/Martin.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

That is why the Liberals are polling 30-25% now.

They have been crying wolf for years about those faux scandals forcing REGULAR voters to compare those alleged CPC scandals and compare them to the Liberal Scandals.

Marie, you and those other lib bloggers don't get it, reality vs perception.

Having Liberals call them scandals, CBC, Toronto Star repeating those Liberal talking points is not working.

October 2008 general election was not clear enough rebuke against the Liberal Party? (Worst POP in 100 years)

Ten months and Iffy won't come clean with anything he would do differently, no numbers until five days before the writ is dropped strategy? ( How is that working out so far?)

Stop blaming the NDP, Bloc, Green, CPC, undecided voters who don't believe your party.

Look in the mirror or continue the silly faux scandals. How many Liberals are still supporting the leader? How many have joined him in repeating "Time is Up"

I have read 99% of Liberal MP's don't want an election-Carolyn Bennet

Coderre thinks MI's advisors have no clue about QC.

The Liberals are not united and the Polls reflect their pathetic stat of affairs since Sudbury.

Read the Angus Poll

In mid-October, the Liberal leader has seen his standing drop dramatically. A majority of Canadians (51%) say their opinion of Ignatieff has worsened over the course of the past month, while only six per cent report an improvement. The Grit leader's momentum score is -45.

Canadian Sense, I stopped reading your comments after the first one. Too many tangents to follow and I am just too tired to try.

PK, I'm still waiting for an answer to my question.

CanadianSense said...

Ottolib,

I was referring the HR Boondoggle with Jane Stewart. The Adscam Scandal is much smaller.

My point the public will understand a real scandal vs faux scandals cited every week by the opposition.

I do believe the Auditor General will find some problems in 2011. I did not want Billions dumped into so many projects.
I am against dumping billions into CS in AB, many subsidies, against Auto bailout etc.
