Proof the SNC Lavalin "scandal" caused no long-term harm to the Liberals and Mr. Trudeau and proof they do not fear it will come back to bite them again during the election.
Gerald Butts is back with the Liberal Party for the election. Mind you he never really did leave. He has been involved with the Liberal Party since he "resigned" his government post he was just being low key about it...until now.

Meanwhile, the lady Judas is back with a book release a month prior to the election. She claims it's about reconciliation -- apparently not the kind of reconciliation that involves healing wounds she inflicted upon her party and the professional reputation of her coworkers and boss.
A shameless publicity stunt from an egotistical, grandstanding amateur promoted to the level of her own incompetence, who will end up a footnote in history (and her manifesto in the bargain bin). Trudeau's Achilles heel seems to be a genuine desire to negotiate with self-serving hacks who aren't acting in good faith.
But even old man yelling at clouds, Charles Adler, says the Cons will have to come up with something other than SNC to bleat about, because Butts is key to the Liberals running a good (and positive) campaign. He's had a curious turnaround as of late judging by his Twitter feed. Perhaps even he realizes the Rebel scum stormtroopers are not the PCs of old and have gone off the cliff?
Anyway, good to see Gerry back at work doing what he does best. Hope to see the far more professional and competent Lametti back as MoJAG this fall.
